Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation of scenic flights and day tours:
- Up to 48 hours prior to departure: No charge.
- Less than 48 hours prior to departure: 50% of tour cost.
- In the event of a guest no show: A 100% cancellation fee will be applied.
- Any flight cancelled by KAS Helicopters will not incur any cancellation charge. We will make every effort to reschedule the flight at a time that is convenient for passengers.
- KAS Helicopters will not be liable for any costs associated with airfares, accommodations, or any other expenses incurred due to helicopter flights that do not proceed as booked.
Weight Restrictions
For legal and safety reasons, all passengers will be weighed prior to boarding. If a passenger’s weight at check-in exceeds the weight provided at the time of booking, they may be prevented from boarding, and the payment for that seat will be forfeited.
- The maximum individual seat weight for our R44 helicopters is 136 kg.
- The combined weight of all passengers on board cannot exceed 250 kg.
- A minimum of two paying passengers is required per flight, with a maximum of three.
Child/Infant Policy
Infants
An Infant is defined as a person under the age of 2 years. Infants may be carried in the arms or on the lap of a restrained adult and should be provided with a supplemental loop belt, commonly referred to as an Infant seat belt. Infants will only be allowed on company aircraft when accompanied by a parent or a responsible adult.
Children
A Child is defined as a passenger who has reached their 2nd birthday but has not yet turned 13. Children will occupy their own seat on the aircraft. Two children may share one seat if both are under 13 years old and have a combined weight of less than 77 kgs. All children must be accompanied by an adult during the flight.

- This raffle is applicable for bookings made between 28 October and 30 November 2024. The lucky winner will be announced at the beginning of December.
- The winner will be chosen at random using a random name picker.
- The winner will be announced at the beginning of December, both directly via email and in a social media post. Please note that the winner’s name will be posted on the KAS Helicopter social media channels.
- KAS Helicopters reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or to cancel the raffle at any time, if deemed necessary.
- Broome Bucks EFTPOS Gift Cards can be redeemed anywhere in Australia that accepts EFTPOS. Broome Bucks gift cards expire 36 months from date of issue.
