Mitch moved to the Kimberley in 2019 to pursue his passion for flying helicopters and is now a permanent Broome resident. After 8 years in the Royal Australian Navy as an Aircraft/Avionics Technician – keeping helicopters up in the sky – Mitch decided to follow his dreams and left the Navy to complete his Commercial Pilot Licence, and has never looked back! Outside of aviation, Mitch has a love for travel, music, camping and exploring the great outdoors.
