A hobby turned into a business opportunity in 2007 when Adrian co-founded KAS Helicopters with Dave Preedy, after both gained their commercial helicopter pilots’ licences and saw an opportunity for charter and helifishing flights from Derby. Adrian was the founder of a successful transport and logistics company which serviced Derby from Perth for nearly two decades before being sold to an ASX-listed company in Jan 2010. In April 2022 Adrian handed over the KAS reins to Jock Warriner from Northern Aviation Services, however Adrian still runs the Busselton base and now you’ll find him flying around Margaret River taking in the region’s spectacular wineries.
